Shipping / Pick Up
We do not deliver merchandise outside of: The District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, pennsylvania or Virginia. For any delivery outside these areas, please contact our Store HeadQuarters Directly at 443.231.5006.
Time Frame for Delivery
We believe in prompt delivery and our policy is to ship your merchandise as soon as possible. In some cases, the availability of merchandise may cause a delay in delivery. However, all online orders are scheduled upon receipt and delivered within 7-10 business days from date of received order. If the merchandise is not available in our warehouse, we have to order it from our manufacturers. In this case, it may take longer for the merchandise to arrive at our retail sales location(s). To ensure a prompt shipment/delivery, we will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment, at your convenience. Please note that there is a three (3) hour delivery time-frame for all deliveries, unless other arrangements are made.
A note to our Customers! Upon Delivery of Merchandise or Upon Picking-up Merchandise
A 3rd Party Delivery Service or our Delivery Personnel will bring the merchandise to your home and place it anywhere requested when standard Delivery is Paid for. Generally, they will assist you in doing so; however, they reserve the right to deny the request. Upon delivery or upon picking-up the merchandise, please have your Identification Card, your Bank/Credit Card (that was used to purchase the merchandise), and the receipt for your purchase. We will check for these three items and we reserve the right to reject the delivery if these items are not provided. These security measures are taken to prevent any fraudulent activity and to provide our customers with valid, safe and secure delivery measures. In addition, we require that someone over the age of eighteen (18) be present to accept the delivery. If possible, please make certain that there is sufficient space available for our truck to park near the premises. All sales are final but if there is an exchange requests, it must be requested within 72 hours of purchase. ***Deliveries Fees are nonrefundable*** We are not responsible if you ask the 3rd party Delivery Service to do anything outside of the original delivery, i,e move something, remove something or any other request you may have*
Damaged Merchandise Delivery
If your merchandise is damaged, upon delivery, please make a note of it on the delivery document. If you fail to note on the delivery document that the merchandise was damaged, then you will be responsible for bringing the merchandise back to our store location for exchange if available or store credit. In this case, we shall not be responsible for any shipping charges incurred whenever the customer brings the merchandise back to the store, for any reason. If your items is damaged upon Delivery you must notify the store within 48 hrs of Delivery. Please see our Return/Exchange Policy
It is our pleasure to offer Free Pick up from our store location, unlike other stores, we do not charge you for this service. Merchandise can be picked up immediately if it is in Stock at the Store (please contact the store directly to schedule your pick up). However, if the merchandise is not available at our location and must be ordered, it can take up to 4 weeks for the merchandise to be available for pick up depending on the location of the merchandise that is being transferred.
Deliveries more than 30 miles
We do not ship furniture outside of DC, MD, NJ, PA or VA. PLEASE NOTE* DELIVERY IS NOT FREE! If your delivery area is more than 25 miles from, our store range, there will be an additional $1.50 charge per mile, along with the charge that you pay online.
Most of our merchandise may not required assembly however, if it does the customer is responsible for the setup unless paid for and arranged with the store prior to delivery. DY Furniture will not be responsible for damaged merchandise if the customer sets the merchandise up themselves, we strongly recommend paying the small set up fee to have DY Furniture Professionally Set up your merchandise to prevent issues.
